First I created this concept on photoshop to match my similar drawing and then drew it
Then I used my drawing from my subject matter drawings.
I scanned them in then enhanced the strength of the hues and changed their colour to a monochromatic pink. I faded out the edged to make them less sharp.
I then made my background. I used a white backing but added a cutout texture of rain which I changed pink to fit with the monochromatic colour scheme.
I used the rubber with minimal hardness to fade the texture to white so I could place the text there. I used my digital type ideas for the type face for my text. To colour the text I picked it from the images darkest section.
At first my piece was in a different layout to follow my draft but then I rearranged it to achieve hierarchy
